The BBQ Gourmet

The BBQ Gourmet is a completely mobile, self sufficient, on site event caterer. Most events we produce are either on site at your office, parking lot, warehouse, or backyard.

Frequently we are asked about other facilities that can accommodate group events of various sizes and descriptions. Please find below a comprehensive list of parks and venues where we perform great catered events.

It is always recommended that when booking a picnic site, request one with a shelter. These are the ones that go first, so book early! If you require catering and entertainment services, always request sites that have full truck access. It will allow all of your suppliers on the day of your event to provide smooth setup and teardown of any contracted services.

GROUP PICNIC SITES

The TRCA operates the biggest and best group picnic locations in the GTA. Looking to swim, fish or hike? How about guided nature walks or wilderness programs for the kids? Maybe all you need is a big private space to hold a large corporate event. In any case, you should check out the offerings at the TRCA.

As one of their Business Partners, The BBQ Gourmet is pre-screened and qualified for all events at TRCA parks. We are able to provide seamless catering services at the locations listed below.

"Recommended" sites are locations where we have provided hassle-free, bbq catered events in the past. Other sites may be suitable for your event, but would have to be assessed on a case by case basis. Fees, permits and restrictions vary from location to location.

UNIQUE INDOOR VENUES

Yes, The BBQ Gourmet does indoor events. These usually apply to weddings, corporate parties and private affairs where "tented" events are not applicable due to seasonality or other factors.

The advantage of using TRCA facilities is that they include outdoor space as well, allowing for flexibility of setup. The threat of inclement weather no longer becomes a concern when planning your special event.
